An Aggressively Mild Take...on purpose

With all of the ideas, virtue signals, pearl clutches, thoughts, and feelings out there, there seems no shortage of aggressively polarized views. Will Smith was totally right and did nothing wrong! Or Will Smith was totally wrong and his motivation is because he's an opportunist! Or Will Smith is toxic trying to protect the womenses and we can't have that in our modern era!
Here I submit a humbly aggressive middle-of-the-road take: "Good Instinct, Terrible Execution"
and the reason that going too hard in either of the other directions can lead our culture's zeitgeist into dangerous territory.
