Alien in Tree Caught on Video

A strange video circulating online shows what appears to be a diminutive figure peering out from a hole in a tree. The very weird scene was reportedly posted to TikTok last week by an individual claiming to have captured the footage during a livestream.

In the video, seen above, the witness can be heard marveling at the uncanny entity seemingly watching him from the tree. He calls the tiny humanoid to "come back out," though the bizarre being maintains its safe distance from the man behind the camera. The witness goes on to ask his audience if he should try to befriend the small figure by giving it some food.

Since being shared online, the man's video has amassed a staggering 15 million views to date and understandably sparked considerable debate as to the veracity of the alleged encounter. Some awestruck observers have suggested that the man stumbled upon an elemental being such as a goblin or a gnome.

More skeptical viewers, however, argue that the footage is a clever hoax wherein the video was made to look like a live broadcast, but the curious humanoid was a digital creation.
