Enshrouded | An Exciting New Fantasy Cooperative RPG

Hello Im Skill Incarnate and Welcome to My Games Review Series.
My reviews cover indie games that i have bought, had gifted to me and have been provided by developers for review. In this episode I check out a new Online RPG Called Enshrouded.

This game was developed and published by Keen Games, who also created the popular fantasy sandbox RPG Portal Knights. Enshrouded takes place in the fantasy realm of Embervale, a once peaceful place that has been assaulted by a magical virus called the Shroud. The Shroud has laid claim to most of Embervale, twisting and warping the local wildlife into monstrous creatures and choking the very air with a poisonous smog.

The players goal is to journey across Embervale, pushing back the encroaching Shroud by exploring its depths, battling the creatures within and destroying the Shroud at the source. Starting with nothing, players will survive by mining, woodcutting, crafting their own tools and weapons and building a base to provide a safe haven from the Shroud using the games
powerful modular building system.

In addition to the Survival Mechinics the game has a solid combat system, taking some light queues from recent Soulslike titles. Players can attack using a large variety of weapons including both melee and magical attacks and block, parry and evade enemy attacks. Youll need to master all of the games mechanics in order to survive as Enshroudeds difficulty is very steep. However players can take advantage of the games Cooperative mode to create your own Party of up to 16 Survivors

Enshrouded was very well recieved by the community with very positive reviews on steam. The games roadmap boasts several exciting new features including new NPCs, a revised Quest system, the ability
to farm and raise livestock and a set of new explorable biomes.

I greatly enjoyed my experience playing Enshrouded and I hope to bring you more of the game, particularly to showcase the Cooperative gameplay modes
