THE DYSTOPIAN ORWELLIAN THOUGHT POLICE IN NEW ZEALAND

Orwell didn't create the Thought Police out of thin air. They were inspired to at least some degree by his experiences in the Spanish Civil War. However today the Thought Police or Orwellian Dystopia exist in New Zealand.

Winston Peter NZ First 24th May 2024 announced a new Members Bill to Protect Freedom Of Speech which was described by NZ First as a vital part of democracy to ensure that everyone can have a say, as long as it is within the law

It was those final words 'as long as it is within the law' that wave red flags so to speak. Hence through my research I have found Orwellian Dystopia continues to exist in NZ even if NZ First implement their Member Bill To Protect Freedom Of Speech in NZ.

This raises a question: who gets to decide what speech 'incitement to hate' and incitement to discrimination'. And who is qualified to make these judgements as to the difference between ‘dislike’ (acceptable) and ‘detest’ (verboten)?

Are you prepared to attend a Restorative Justice meeting to apologize to a individual a group because they do not like what you have said. Where what you have said may offend some and may not offend others. This is the Oppressor and Oppressed Victim-hood that has a stranglehold on NZ Society today.
