Willpower vs Identity (Overcoming Addiction)
It is amazing to have immense willpower and confidence in yourself while overcoming addiction or any issues in life
But sometimes willpower doesn't seem to work.
For example, if you’re trying to quit drinking and constantly count the days you’ve been sober, you’re more likely to relapse because it doesn’t feel natural.
Relying solely on willpower can be challenging because it highlights a state that isn’t your natural way of being.
Instead, create an identity of yourself that is free from addiction.
By thinking, acting, and living as this addiction-free version, you won’t need to count days. It becomes natural to live without the substance.
Here's a video I made on how to manifest by creating an alter EGO:

By creating an identity, it gets easier to accomplish any goal, or task and achieve your desired goals.
All you have to do is align yourself with the identity that you created and follow along without losing hope.
