Dear Pastor Bob: Are certain kinds of prayers a "one-size fits-all" for everyone? I ask because some say that if we pray a certain prayer from a certain teacher, it may be more powerful than other prayers from other teachers or ministers. I am not talking about prayers to receive Salvation. I am talking about prayers that some teachers use to rebuke sin in our lives, such as malice and bitterness towards others. Some of these prayers are very long and drawn out. These people say these kinds of prayers may be the most effective, since they cover all the bases. Some prayers take up to 10 minutes! Do you have any thoughts on this?
