Macron refuses to use rubles to pay for gas. Zelensky might be flexible in negotiations (2022-03-30)

French President Macron told Russian President Putin that paying gas bills in rubles is not possible.

I see three options:
1. They will not pay, but Zelensky will make great concessions in their negotiations with Russia (the war ends suddenly).
2. They will pay, and that will be the end of it.
3. They will not pay, and they will not have gas.
