Elsuon | 208 - The Magalamoy

In Vny Vanir taxonomy, Magalamoy are a particularly dangerous, fast-moving class of Sepulchora, or undead.

Created out of wrath, Magalamoy are strong, untiring, and malign. They are notoriously difficult to destroy as they cannot be conventionally harmed and fires go out in their presence. Magalamoy communicate telepathically with each other and can formulate complex strategies to exact their revenge.

Magalamoy have been observed paralyzing or hypnotizing their victims before attacking them. Once the creature touches its intended victim, it always knows the exact location of that person, wherever they may be in the world.

Most Magalamoy are short-lived. On the anniversary of their “first death,” the creature crumbles to fine dust. However, a few Magalamoy are known to have “stepped over” this deadline, surviving for years. Some speculate the Magalamoy are the raised corpses of those warriors slain by the Saintless.

The word magalamoy means “fast-rotter.”
