The question of extraterrestrial life has lived in the minds of men and women for centuries. The question ‘Are we alone?’ - is one that many have desperately sought the answer to and though, whilst the jury is still out when it comes to definitive confirmation, many believe that we as a species are ‘just around the corner’ from discovering the truth. Indeed, many do believe that the government or the ‘powers that be’ already know this ‘truth’ and that aliens aren't just a concept that keeps some awake at night, but in actuality, something that our betters have known for generations. It comes as no surprise that many of a more religious inclination might turn to the bible for the answers and whilst for the most part, the bible remains silent on extraterrestrials or UFOs, there are some enthusiasts and scholars who propose that the Bible does contain ‘hidden’ references to encounters with beings from other worlds and seek to interpret certain passages as evidence for extraterrestrial contact.
