In the premiere episode of the American Recovery Podcast, host Daniel Donovan speaks with Dave Closson in the first of a three part interview where Dave discusses the TBI he received while serving in Iraq with the National Guard, seeking help from the VA to ultimately get misdiagnosed and prescribed an SSRI which exacerbated his anxiety and PTSD. Dave details how these conditions contributed to his experiences with alcohol and how his experience in recovery trying to identify ways to begin healing from PTSD and the physical trauma he experienced while serving in the military.
