Far Cry 1 Trailer

Far Cry places players in the shoes of former special forces agent Jack Carver and is set on a string of isolated tropical islands teeming with mercenaries on the prowl.

Jack finds himself stranded on the sunny shores of this dangerous place following artillery strikes on his boat. He must now face his attackers and set out on an expedition throughout the perilous archipelago to find the journalist he was escorting who has vanished for unknown reasons. Like other games in the series, Far Cry's main gameplay elements were stealth, tight gunfights, and leveraging open-ended locations to give players the upper hand.
