While he battle of the bulge is well know to history buffs, the battle of prominent vodka brands at the Bunker of Carli’s Base Camp is quite a different one.
Russian Standard, Beluga, Stolichnaya, HLIBNI DAR ( UKR ) and SENFT ( GER ) were engaged in a fierce competition to win over the most hardcore of vodka addicts. The final round of this extreme tasting slugfest only saw the Russians, Polish and the host still standing… while ze Germans had long since capitulated.
The jury is still out to determine the UVF ( Ultimate Vodka Fighter )…
