Today's Terrible Judge: Ciudad Real Court

#CiudadReal court of #centralSpain decided to release a 20-year-old Gypsy for raping a 12-year-old #Gypsy girl due to such activity being part of their "culture". The Ciudad Real Court relied on precedence from #Leon which held that child marriages between #Roma are common and so Spanish law simply doesn't apply. The court somehow held the 12-year-old girl was more like a 15-year-old girl and this was sufficient for a relationship with a 20-year-old, somehow.
