2006 Scion TC Oil Soak to Stop Excessive Oil Consumption

The 2.4 liter 2AZ-FE Toyota engine is notorious for burning oil. Oil changes were done around every 5000 miles. Car has 160K miles now. The issue is the return oil holes in the pistons were built too small causing the oil ring springs to clog. Engine went from burning 1 quart every 2000 miles to a half quart every 3000 miles after multiple oil soaks. I will post an update soon.
