Beware of Logic

"Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities." I don't remember the author (authority) of this quote. Look it up if you like.
Every day when I think, or say "I know" or when I hear someone say, "we know," I stop and think. "Do I know?" "What do I actually know?" (I say this stuff in this series out of habit. I may have to break the habit.)
There are those who handy the phrase about haphazardly and there are others who use it to manipulate. When challenged they might say, "think about it." Or "think logically." Then they go on to present you with a "logical" explanation in a way they hope makes you feel dumb enough to not question him any further.
Logic doesn't exist in nature. I don't know this for a fact, but if you think logically about it, you'll agree that I'm right.

There's a weird brand of logic out there that if humans continue to follow and accept it, will accelerate our extinction.

Meanwhile as we check off the first Monday of a new month, another one of those theories that I glommed on to is crumbling. I'm not surprised. There was a glitch in the pattern in 1991 that the authors dismissed as an anomaly. It always bothered me.
