How the Shortest NBA Player Ever Destroyed Everyone

Muggsy Bogues is the Shortest NBA Player Ever to play in the NBA. Muggsy played an incredible, 13 seasons in the NBA from 1988 to 2001 before retiring in 2001 whilst playing for the Toronto Raptors.

From getting shot at 5 years old, to having a decade long NBA career, Bogues story is incredibly inspiring. The things that he had to face throughout his life are shocking, yet he never let them get him down. All the negative comments about his height, people not believing in him and all the traumatic things that surrounded him only motivated Muggsy.

Muggsy is most well known for his time playing for the Charlotte Hornets, but he also played for the Golden State Warriors, Toronto Raptors and the Washington Wizards (they were called the Bullets at the time.)

Muggsy would shock the NBA and average a double double in 1993, which for someone of his size was un heard of, and no one has even come close to this since.

He would also win a Gold Medal at the FIBA World Cup in 1986, whilst he was a Junior at Wake Forest.
