This is why I rely on the wikis**We Look into what an Imperial saint is According to the Wikis (take with a grain of salt). They are Men and Women who have fought for the Emperor of Mankind Valiantly and extraordinarily. Some are known just by a Region of Space and some by all of the Imperium. Living Saints are mostly Adepta Sororitas sisters who have faith in the god-emperor like no other. Saints in the bible are actually not perfect beings, just people who follow the ways of God.
