Lincoln crutch - part 2

Here this ewe is demonstrating the Lincoln ability to still fight a bit even while down... see how she keeps kicking and twitching her legs a little? They are very ticklish and wiggly, but I am good at being able to feel when they are about to kick, sort of like a bullrider or something - if you can't move with the animal you will just be thrown off immediately and win no prize money - that is what shearing Lincoln Longwools is like (except more sharp & moving objects involved...). And I always get that "prize money" - I've never met a sheep I could not get the wool off of, even the big strong ones 😘
