—My Tidbit:—
The Talmud permits what the Torah(Old Testament of the Bible) forbids. Then there is the Kabbalah - an ancient mystic system whereby the "Synagogue of Satan" believes that one can attain Godhood. I'm starting to suspect that much of what's scientific theory comes from this system.
I find it interesting that there are 22 Chapters in the Book of Revelation, 22 Cards in the High Arcana of Tarot (though they are numbered 0 to 21), and there are 22 paths in the Kabbalah Tree.
