Parables of Jesus – Talk #19

After briefly discussing what Jesus's audience understood by the Kingdom of Heaven in Matthew 13, we then turn to Luke 14 where we discuss the nature of authentic discipleship and the two parables Jesus tells there: the parable of counting the cost, and the parable regarding one king contemplating surrender to another king.
