My conclusion about the AutoOrtho source choices; I recommend BI (Bing) in AuthoOrtho if you have 8GB or more VRAM, Firefly if 4-6GB. Firefly does best with my RTX 3050 Ti card.

If limited on VRAM, or maybe even if not, The XGrinder tool conveniently converts 4K aircraft textures to dds format which I believe is better than png within X-Plane. It can scale them down to 2K, which will help AutoOrtho out with more room for the ortho textures. Various modelers use png or have a mix of the two, but dds is supposed to be more efficient. Far easier than trying to export it in dds with exactly the right settings with Photoshop or GIMP, imo. LOL
