Shanna Gardner is the daughter of the highly successful Sterling and Shelli Gardner, co-founders of the highly successful Stampin’ Up! arts and crafts company and fixtures in the Mormon community in Utah.

Now she is famed for a different reason, she is accused of orchestrating the murder of her ex-husband, Jared Bridegan, and is facing charges of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, solicitation to commit first-degree murder, and child abuse.

Bridegan was ambushed and killed in 2022 while driving with his and Gardner's daughter in the backseat. The case involves a complex web of relationships, including Gardner's new husband, Mario Fernandez Saldana, and a hired gunman, Henry Tenon.

Both Gardner and Saldana are facing the death penalty, and Tenon has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in exchange for testifying against the others involved. The case has been marked by contentious legal battles and a messy custody dispute between Gardner and Bridegan.
