Don't Get Greedy in Age of Empires 2!

Age of Empires 2 is a RTS Game that I'm slowly learning. Before getting into AoE2 Ranked, I want to be able to beat the Hard AI first with an Vietnamese AoE2 Archer build. However, if I get too greedy, things will become pretty hard.
