Since the beginning, the Israelites have been enslaved -- Joseph was the first Israelite of many. Since Egypt unto this very day, we have gone into captivity time and time again. In fact, our years spent in exile outnumber our years spent in the promised land. Why? Because when we dwelt in our own land, we sinned against YAH as the heathen do and when He sent His prophets to correct us, we mocked and killed them. But in the time of our trouble, if we call on YAH for help, He will help us; even now. YAH will return to His servants who return to Him. Let's keep His laws and commandments so we can finally go home and reign there forever with Father YAH.
