10 People Died Due To Floods On Sunday

Sri Lanka. 10 people died due to floods on Sunday. Heavy downpours flooded houses, fields and roads and forced authorities to cut off electricity as a precaution.
Six people drowned in Colombo and the remote Ratnapura area, according to the disaster management center. Three others died when landslides hit their homes, and one person died when a tree fell on him. By Monday, more than 5,000 people had been moved to evacuation centers and more than 400 homes had been damaged, the center said in a statement.
