Woman Made Only Of Skin Arrive From Year 4023 To Warn About Coming Virus

The Doctor takes his new companion, Rose, to witness the destruction of Earth in the year 5.5/apple/26. The event is being held on a space station called Platform One, and the Doctor has received an invitation to attend.

When they arrive, they find themselves in a room with several other alien species, all of whom have gathered to witness the end of Earth. The station's steward, Jabe, welcomes them and explains that the event is being held to mark the passing of Earth and to allow other species to pay their respects.

As they explore the station, the Doctor and Rose discover that something sinister is going on. One of the guests, Lady Cassandra, a humanoid with a face made of stretched-out skin, is manipulating the station's systems to cause it to explode.

With the help of Jabe and other guests, the Doctor and Rose manage to stop Lady Cassandra and save the station from destruction. However, Jabe sacrifices herself in the process, as she uses her plant-like abilities to hold open a door, allowing the others to escape while she is incinerated by the heat.

In the end, the Doctor and Rose return to Earth, where they witness the sunrise on a new day. Rose is both amazed and terrified by the experience, but the Doctor assures her that she's seen nothing yet, and that they have many more adventures to come.
