It is legally a suppressor but it doesn't use baffles. Instead, the team at Angstadt has ported the barrel liberally and incased it in a tube. This serves both to vent the gas like a traditional suppressor, but it also decreases the operating pressure of the round. reducing its velocity. This makes it among the cheapest guns to shoot.
