I watched the first two episodes of the new yes new Star Wars series The Acolyte and honestly it is a wonderful breath of fresh air if you didn't know this is set 100 years before any of the movies so no fan service the Skywalkers any of that as it follows a mystery involving a former Padawan and her Jedi Master that soon spirals into something a little bit more Sinister as a mystery fan I'm loving this approach and the first two episodes have kept me guessing they're breadcrumbing me I'm really enjoying it I love the cast of characters lots of Jedi this time around I had no clue that this was Daphne Keane such a cool character my only problem is that everything feels and looks a little too pristine like it's Star Wars let's get grimy along with the musical score and lighting of this series really not nailing that darker tone that I'm assuming that this series is gunning for new lore characters the dialogue is fine but this feels like a new Star Wars and I have I have high hopes
