The Acolyte Episode 1-2 Review | The Acolyte Review

The Acolyte is finally here after months of it getting dunked on before anyone had even seen it so HateWatchers is on the scene with our comedy review of the first two episodes. While episodes 1 & 2 of The Acolyte aren't terrible on their own, there are some troubling signs on the horizon. Most of the characters are one-dimensional tools for the plot, the story failed to grip you from the outset, and the show repeatedly squandering any kind of unique storytelling that having the twins of Mae and Osha could have offered. We will have to wait to see where things go but I have a bad feeling about this...
