Jesus tells us the age of the Earth?

If you are a Christian, then you believe what Jesus says.

So then, Jesus statements on things like creation, and the age of the Earth is who we rely on first. As a Christian, we also know that the scripture, Bible, is the in errant and infallible word of God. This has ultimate truth.

Why would you want to take ultimate truth and argue against it and try to turn it into poetry or allegory? That is in violation of communication to us.
