Do Primers ACTUALLY Matter?!?!?!?

We get asked about primers and how much they matter on a daily basis. Especially now, in the current shortage of components, we have seen a massive increase in shooters wanting to cross primers over, mix primers when necessary and switch to magnum primers for non-magnum situations. We are absolutely not saying that some primer brand/types don't perform better than others, we are saying it the individual components don't matter the way many seem to think.
