Pokémon GO Reverses Course Following Backlash to DEI Updates

Niantic has quietly reversed course on previous updates for Pokémon GO that many believe were at the behest of a DEI consulting firm.

Many fans of the game were upset by creative choices to the avatar customization options that seemingly blended males and females. This came after Niantic consulted with the firm GaymerX who have stated they want to push transgenderism in gaming. Due to the public backlash it would appear Niantic reversed course in a new Pokémon GO update that they never gave much attention.
