Why Does The World Hate Us?

During Dr Jeff’s recent visit to Israel, he witnessed a nation deeply changed by war. There was an overwhelming sense of fear and heaviness in the air, unlike anything I had seen before. People’s hearts were tender, and many asked, “Why does the world hate us?” The streets were eerily empty of tourists, and my Israeli colleagues were astonished I was there. I met with paramedics, soldiers, and civic leaders, and saw harrowing surveillance footage of attacks that devastated communities, leaving a profound impact on the local populace.

This war has intensified antisemitism and created a sense of unity among Jews globally. Conversations with Israelis revealed a deep sense of sobriety and fear, reminiscent of the 1930s. The brutality witnessed in videos, such as Hamas militants using RPGs to attack civilians, underscored the horror experienced. Despite the fear, there is a call for believers to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and support Israel during these trying times.
