A mother and child chimpanzee may attack the dad chimpanzee if they feel threatened or if the dad tries to harm the child. Chimpanzees are very protective, and a mother will do anything to keep her baby safe. These attacks can be fierce because chimps are strong and have sharp teeth. Can you imagine how intense it must be to see a family of chimps fighting? It’s a reminder of how strong family bonds are, even in the wild!
