A variation of a Country Time,

Muddle 1 FROZEN strawberry (in the short half of your shaker) that has been quartered (yes quarter it while it is frozen) you want to muddle with nothing, just kind of bust up the strawberry into a mush. NEXT, add ice to the other side of your shaker, THEN add 3/4 oz simple syrup to your strawberries, add 3 oz Pink Whitney vodka and 1/2 of a freshly squeezed lemon. Shake like you don't have liberal noodle arms. Dump into a Collins glass and top (if needed) with a splash of either soda or tonic water. Add a nice slice of lemon (if your serving to your wife).
