Secret Destiny of America Chapter 12- Western Culture 1,000 years Before Columbus In this chapter we go over the Mayan Culture and its history, at least what little we know of it at this point in the year 1944 when this book was written. We learn that the Mayan culture did not engage in human sacrifice as often as the neighboring tribes, The Aztecs and the Incas, but rather did it only on once-in-a-blue-moon occasions. We also discover the origin story of the figure Quetzalcoatl and how he came to the Maya, and said he was from an Eastern Land and taught them civilization and gave them a writing system and a form of Priest-King ship that became their governance. We learn that the Maya had possibly more than one religion among them and under their priest-kingship, they were free to do so. Much like America's constitutional right to the Freedom of Religion, and a few other things that are similar to both the Modern American and Ancient Mayan ways.
