1 Corinthians 10:1-13

As the apostle Paul begins to conclude his instruction concerning Christian liberty, he cites historical examples of God's blessings on the fledgling nation of Israel. God worked miraculous signs and wonders in delivering Israel from Egyptian bondage and bringing them to the land He had promised to Abraham. Even so, the Israelites continuously dishonored Him through selfish indulgence. Paul warns the Corinthians and us that these things were examples for us...not to follow, but to take heed.
