Man shot in Taco Bell driveway marks 7th shooting in violent 26 hours in Indianapolis

A man shot in the parking lot of a Taco Bell on Indianapolis' east side Tuesday evening marked the seventh shooting in a violent 26 hours in Indianapolis.  Police were initially called to the Clark gas station at East 38th Street and Oxford Street just after 10 p.m. for a report of a person who had been shot.  When they arrived they found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower abdomen. That man was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
