Eternal Security 12 - 1 John 5:4-5

1 John 5:4-5 KJV For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, our faith. 5  Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

Notice the first phrase. Whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world. According to scripture, Christians are people who have been born again of God. So this phrase GUARANTEES true Christians will overcome the world. WILL, so they can't lose their salvation or hand it back or walk away. They are guaranteed to make it to heaven.
