Swarm Grinder | Sci Fi Planet Miners

Hello Im Skill Incarnate and Welcome to My Games Review Series.
My reviews cover indie games that i have bought, had gifted to me and have been provided by developers for review.

In this episode I check out a new Tower Defense Game called Swarm Grinder, which is the breakout title by small developer Last Bite Games Swarm Grinders takes place in the far future, following the efforts of a team of miners attempting to extract rare and valuable resources from an Alien Planet. Unfortunately the planet is inhabited by a race of vicious bugs and the dont take kindly to intruders. The player will control an array of mecha ranging from lead spewing behemoth to a floating platform armed with an array of rotating blades as you deploy to the planet, extract your payload and hold back the bug swarm long enough to successfully extract.

The Campaign boasts an array of unlockable weapons and upgrades along with an array of mecha to discover, each with the own unique play style. There are three unique difficulty settings offering a challenge for players of any skill level, along with a free play mode allowing players to enjoy the game their way. While the game does have some performance issues when large amounts of enemies are on screen, it was still a very enjoyable experience and will appeal to fans of similar games like Vampire Survivors.
