Sweetwater Rescue (2007)

Review one of the greatest acts of heroism in the 19th century, when the stranded members of the Willie and Martin Handcart Companies were rescued by the Saints in Salt Lake.
This is a dramatic story of a Mormon Handcart Journey that left too late in the year to get to Salt Lake City from the East. Several of the pioneers died trying to pull their belongings by hand before being rescued with volunteers and wagons from Salt Lake City.
