Vince gladly departs the Citadel and heads back to Illium to look for the assassin Thane. First he has to help Miranda rescue her genetic twin, as if she wasn't annoying enough, now there's two.

He decides to go for it with Jack, but she's still emotionally unstable after. So he takes her with to Illium and security flies them and Zaeed up to the illustrious corporate tower of Nassana - the corrupt asari who conned Vince into killing her pirate sister. Apparently, she's made a lot of enemies.
