The old Serbian folk song "Rasti, Rasti, moj zeleni bore" was written down in the 19th century in the village of Nerodimlje, where the Nemanjić family dined in the Middle Ages. And it refers to two old munika pine trees, one the hand of King Milutin and the other of Emperor Dušan. Many games and songs are opened around these tall bora trees. Branislav Nušić recorded this poem and many other poems in his writings while staying in Nerodimlje as vice consul in Priština. Like many other ethnomusicologists who stayed and recorded old folk songs and dances in Kosovo and Metohija...
