We've talked about today's topic before, but now it's attempting to go global...

Canada's Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) program, which promotes assisted suicide, was supposed to be used sparingly - for only the most extreme of circumstances - when advocates succeeded in making it the law of the land in 2016. In that year, 1,018 people died from MAID. That number has increased every year since to over 13,000 in 2022 - the most recent year for which data is available.

In today's video, we discuss how they're expanding the pool of people eligible for MAID, efforts to spread this program globally, who is ultimately behind it, and why you should hope - not fear - in a dark and dying world.
