RETURN TO SILENT HILL Teaser Gut Reaction

Every once in a while, we Movie Fans get what we want, every so often Horror gets it right. We gather here to welcome with open arms a nightmare we never thought we'd revisit in our wildest fantasies. But now, "in our restless dreams, we reenter that foggy town", we Return to Silent Hill. Brief as it may be, I couldn't be more excited to greet the footage of the upcoming sequel. Joining the reunion is returning director Christophe Gans the filmmaker from the original movie, and based on what we've seen, he hasn't lost a step. The behind-the-scenes insight that he's provided gives us context to what we see in the Teaser. At long last, properly adapting the Silent Hill 2 game, we're back at the haven that Horror calls home. James Sunderland journeys to a mysterious, secluded, and abandoned Ghost Town in search of his wife who has sent him a letter recently despite having dearly departed 3 years ago. What he discovers is a town that's gone to hell and not only has surprises waiting for James but secrets as well.
