B544 - Jun 9, 2024 Watch and Pray

Yeshua told His disciples that He was returning for those who were watching for His return. Most people and many believers are not watching for anything prior to His return, and have no idea what their job entails as a disciple.

In this Bible study we look at the command to be a watchman over the fellowship of believers in Yeshua, and how the Holy Spirit can help prevent falling into snares and defend against attacks by Satan, when everyone is on guard together.

The Apostle Paul tells us that everyone who claims to be a born again believer, has the responsibility to watch out for deceptive people, and ungodly behavior, that could jeopardize believers and their personal relationship with Yeshua.

Bible Watchmen must know God’s Word and be able to communicate it’s truth, even when the message is hard and unpleasant to the hearers. The gift of discernment is available to every believer and is needed in a great measure in the world today. Watchmen in Yehovah’s Kingdom have a special blessing and a special warning over their assignment and need to take the job serious.

God will hold watchmen accountable for what they say and for what they refuse to say, and any sugar coated messages that are not from Yehovah, will bring down promises from God that will hold them to account for their lack of obedience. Being led by the Holy Spirit and letting Him give you the words you speak, can help your message stay on track and keep your message inline with His Will.

Trust in Yehovah with all of your heart and do not trust in your own abilities. Cry out to Yeshua and accept His free gift of redemption for your life and be filled with the Holy Spirit of Yehovah. Trust in the Plan that will never fail!
