Santa Fe 3751 in Amarillo

In September 1992 AT&SF Steam Locomotive 3751 came to Amarillo with Santa Fe's "Employee Special." The train ran from Los Angeles California to Chicago Illinois via the Transcon.

Amarillo was fortunate to be one of 3751's scheduled stops for an overnight stay on the way to and from Chicago.

Recently discovered photos of this event were found in our archives and we decided to share them with you.
