My battle with the Western medical system RE: autoimmune disease and recovery

For our Wellness Wednesday on the 12th of June, we welcome Monika Welch to share her journey to wellness.

Monika is a well know Far North Artist and Community helper. She has had a more than a few medical events that have shaped and altered her life tremendously. Surgery, Grave’s disease and Hashimotos, Lichen schlerosus, idiopathic thrombocytopenia purpura (ITP) and developed a skin condition as a side effect from the ITP treatment.
Her story of recovery and courage is inspiring. Thought it all she ceaselessly helps other through her organization The House of FINKK (Families in Need Kerikeri)
