Illegal immigrant from El Salvador captured and charged in rape, killing of Maryland mom-of-5

Victor Martinez-Hernandez is charged with first-degree murder and first-degree rape. He was arrested late Friday night in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and booked.

He is linked to a Murder in El Salvador, Home Invasion in March of 2023 in Los Angeles and the homicide of Rachel Morin in August of 2023 in Harford County, Maryland.

He is also believed to be facing local charges in Tulsa for possibly trespassing or disorderly conduct.

37-year-old Rachel Morin went for a run on the Ma & Pa Trail but never returned. Volunteers found her body in a drain runoff pit near the trail on August 6, 2023
