Inflation is rising, salaries are stagnant and people are strapped, so it should be no surprise that nobody wants to pay more in taxes. Unfortunately, the county is suffering from the same economic ills and the commissioners are under pressure to make some serious cuts without lowering the level of law enforcement.
Former Couty Commissioner candidate Chris Castleman is going to talk about some of the ideas he thinks the county should look at to solve its economic woes. They know people do no support an increase in property taxes, which limits their ability to generate funding.
